The Don Bosco Youth Movement - a special expression of Don Bosco's pedagogy. Don Bosco realised the importance of getting together to form groups. In Don Bosco's life that seemed to arise spontaneously, as an expression of his temperament which was naturally inclined towards being open to people and making friends. Bringing young people together in groups is a kind of preventive project that Don Bosco wanted to establish. The Don Bosco Youth Movement India, is part of Youth Animation of South Asia and is a member of the International Salesian Youth Movement.
“Youth Space” a handbook for Don Bosco Youth Groups authored by Fr. Edwin Colaco South Asian Coordinator for Don Bosco Groups and Movements was released on 2nd Nov 2013 by Fr. Fabio Attard, General Councillor of Youth Pastoral at the Don Bosco Youth Animation South Asia (DBYASA) annual meeting at Don Bosco, Aluva in Kerla.Read more

Don Bosco Youth Animation (DBYA) - South Asia (SA) Groups and Movements organized a seminar on Salesian Youth Spirituality from Sept 14 & 15 September 2013 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore, 31 members from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Trichy, Guwahati, Dimapur, Mumbai & Konkan attended the seminar, the main resource person for the seminar was Fr Cletus D’souza, sdb from the Mumbai Province.Read more
A festive mood engulfed Don Bosco, Dindigul right from the dawn of 25th January. As the youth started trickling in it began to resemble the 'Festive Oratory'. 25th and 26th turned out to to be days of joy, sharing and exhibition of talents for the 150 youth who had gathered and the Salesians present with the youth.Read more

12/12/12 was indeed a very exciting day to begin the College Youth Group of Don Bosco Savedi. Fr. Anthony Goyal along with Cl. Bosco Youth from nine centres of Bangalore zone came together to celebrate the “Year of Faith” on 18 November 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdunagara, Bangalore. Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS) took the Salesian Province of Mumbai a step closer 'TOWARDS 2015' by launching the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) at Our Lady of Dolours Parish, Wadala on July 8, 2012.
